Over the last two years or so, with the Olympics and Winter Olympics in full focus, it's been refreshing to see an increased interest in minority sports such as gymnastics, athletics and ice hockey, and disability sports such as wheelchair tennis and rugby.
 
Over the same period of time, we've been steadily building up a self-initiated, highly stylised portfolio of sports images for our collection on Getty Images. In many cases, we've worked with genuine athletes, and worked at various locations around the UK to bring the best out of our ideas.
 
Most recently, our work in this field has expanded to include disability sports. We photographed a group of wheelchair rugby players, both male and female, and also shot a wheelchair racing athlete to add some very welcome diversity to our portfolio.
 
We'll continue to build this portfolio over time, so do check back in the future.
